I would say that Gentrack is more a generic plug and play software product that can be easily added to a business existing software platform.

Whereas Hansen's software (and powercloud) is more specific in that they develop the software with the utility companies and cater to what needs they want.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages which is probably why there is room for both on the market currently.
