#Potentially Deep Value #2

I agree that this NOT a buying opportunity right AT THIS MOMENT

But there is POTENTIAL the market is overreacting. We don't know the penalties, and if there are penalties they might be minimal. If this is the case, the share price will remain suppressed for a while as the 'fear' of the market will linger.

In this scenario, a GREAT opportunity, will be presented. hence POTENTIALLY deep value at these prices. And share price might fall even further from here.

This is why I have put Bell Financial onto my watchlist but have NOT taken a position yet

Share price has dropped form $1.90 in January to a current share price $1.18

One of the reasons behind the acceleration in the share price drop is an Austrac ANN:

Market is probably overreacting to increase risks associated with the AUSTRAC investigation

If nothing major comes out of this, then Bell Financial Group looks intriguing value with a nice dividend yield (9-10%). Some other points:

  1. Dividend has increased from 1c in 2012 to 11c in FY21
  2. Dividend might temporarily drop in FY22 depending on Austrac findings
  3. FY22 results disappointed. Revenue, EPS, ROE all dropped from FY20. IMO, this drop is a result of the tremendous growth experienced from FY19 to FY20.
