strawman trading limits caution - I sold some shares in rac.asx then tried to replace them (and add) at a lower price - but was unable to do so as the holding 'would have exceeded 20% of portfolio' - although the holding was over 20% prior to the sale. Take note, and be careful out there !
Follow up thought - would it perhaps be fairer if a stock's percentage of portfolio creates a 'high water mark' that can be returned to ?
ie say my portfolio is 23% rac, I sell some, the price falls, then I am allowed to replace back up to that 23% level ?
