Short term - Crisis in Ukraine will effect global supply through expected sanctions on the export of potash from Belarus.

Medium to long-term :

  • Global demand is ~7 million tpa, doubling since 2010. Global Lithium Carbonate demand ~350,000 tpa
  • Australia currently imports all its potash needs with retail SOP prices around $1,000/t
  • Increasing global demand for organic and environmentally friendly Australian grown produce
