Wednesday 19th September 2018: Brain Resource Ltd announces expanded product capabilities and name change of MyBrainSolutions to Total Brain:  see here.

Here is part of the announcement:

Brain Resource Limited (ASX: BRC, OTC: BRRZY) today announces:

  • the release of a significant upgrade, expansion to its technological platform and
  • the brand repositioning of legacy “MyBrainSolutions”  to “Total Brain”: the world’s first Brain Performance Monitoring and Training Platform.

Leveraging the scientific assets of the Company’s digital brain assessment, its standardized neuroscientific database and its brain trainings, Total Brain offers a completely renovated user experience with new, complementary features that have high economic value for subscribers - employers and individuals alike. With its new platform, Total Brain invites users to realise the full potential of their brain capacities (emotion, feeling, cognition and self-control) and improve their human performance at home and at work.

The launch of the platform and brand repositioning are significant steps in delivering on the business plan that was shared with investors at the time of recapitalisation in late CY17.  Launching a new cloud-based, scalable platform with an engaging user-experience and a new evocative modern brand were identified as key milestones to renovating and accelerating the Company’s growth.  Less than nine months after the recapitalization, we are pleased to confirm that this has been delivered ahead-of-time and on-budget.

As part of the launch, over 600,000 existing individual users, 23 corporate customers and 5 channel partners were all successfully migrated to the new platform. Feedback has been very positive.

“It is with great pride that I see 16 years of serious neuroscience coming together with ancient wisdom and digital product expertise to deliver concrete, useful and life-changing results for individuals whose brains are functioning sub-optimally and for the corporations who depend on them to succeed in a knowledge economy,” said Evian Gordon, Chief Medical Officer and founder of Total Brain.

The new name is effective immediately and Total Brain has a new logo and website.

Additional:  18-Dec-2018:  Total Brain now also has a new ASX code, TTB (instead of the old BRC).

Disclosure:  I have a very small holding in this company.

March 2019:

Recapitalised late last year.  Largest brain database in the US.  Have significant clients, some of whom are among the USA's largest corporations.  Many of the new Brain Resource (BRC) executives are ex-Monster.Com executive.  Monster was and is one of the leading human resources companies in the USA, best known for their employment ad website.  There are a lot of tech-heads working at BRC now, as well as advertising and finance gurus.  Many of these people have been instrumental in building up and commercialising significant global online portals (websites) such as Monster, Ride.com, Yodle and Amazon subsidiary Audible.

This company used to be run by doctors and other medical professionals.  That has all changed.  They have a terrible looking 12-month SP graph, but I think that will change over the next 12 months.

Disclosure:  I hold BRC shares.

September 2019:  I've now sold out of TTB.  BRC (Brain Resources) were renamed Total Brain and changed their ASX code to TTB.  Watch them soar now that I'm out...

22-Oct-2018:  New Brain Resource Company Presentation released today - see here.

Disclosure:  I have a small holding in this company, which has now changed their name to Total Brain and their code to TTB.  Just gambling money really.  They could keep raising capital and dilluting existing shareholders, or go broke, or come good.  They looked a lot better when I bought the shares.  Progress has been dissapointing more recently.  Plenty of hype at times.  Plenty of promise.  Just not much in the way of runs on the board.  The market loses interest in them quite quickly when the hype wears off - every time.
