I love finding unloved stocks that have a bright future. I think Worley is one.
back in 2007 Worley Parsons (as it as then) hit nearly $50 on the back of services to the energy sector. Most people still see this as its role, and that is an unloved activity. But Worley has transitioned to a company that provides solutions to enable the planet to become carbon neutral (a significant pivot in its activities). It also supports chemicals and resources which will remain significant for years to come.
Jacobs, a significant shareholder in Worley, is exiting their position, and I think now is a good chance to buy into a very well-run company that leverages the move to carbon neutrality.
I hold IRL.
