After welcoming more than 100 new members over the past week (a new record!) the Strawman community now stands at over 2,000 investors strong.
It’s a modest, yet noteworthy milestone. Especially given we don’t rely on paid marketing and grandiose promises to attract new members.
Indeed, we ask our members to selflessly share their own research and recommendations, exposing them to the scrutiny of their peers and publicly tracking performance against the market. In an industry that typically shuns transparency and accountability, preferring instead to stoke the flames of greed & fear, it’s an unconventional approach.
Though it can, at times, be a daunting experience, we firmly believe it to be an empowering one. Honesty, humility and respect replace the bluff and bluster that is so typical of other investment forums.
Reputations are hard won. Trust is earned. And what ultimately emerges is, we believe, more genuine. More valuable.
