Sunrice could potentially lose export rights for rice grown in the Northern rivers to independent growers as part of the review on vesting arrangements by the NSW government.
News sounds bearish but the share price still keeps getting bid and holding at the end of the day. Seems like someone thinks this piece of legislation will unlikely happen.

Looks like rice prices are starting to go up like all commodities lately
Also the forecast of better growing conditions due to recent rainfall helps add to the bull case for Ricegrowers and explain the BTD action.
Pity I didn't factor the above when I sold out recently and instead focused more on sunrice product levels and discounting on the supermarket shelves.
