Perovskite Solar Cells
I have been keeping an eye out for anybody on the ASX doing anything with perovskite solar cells. A technology that is being heavily funded at the university research level (new grant this month for USYD study, $40m to "SunDrive") and it seems that First Graphene has their finger in the proverbial pie.
Nothing too noteworthy but worth flagging that these guys are moving forward with grass-roots tech and *could* be beneficiaries of a tailwind. That being said, while PSC panels would be great for harvesting the sun's power in much lower light environments, they still quite a while away from matching typical PV panels in durability and function in different levels of heat and humidity.
