I have had a bit of experience with Seeing Machines technology used in Flight Simulators to track where pilots are looking  and it was very effective at improving pilot scans of instruments during training and identifying when pilots were not scanning correctly or were distracted.

Being able to track the eyes of vehicle drivers is a big safety benefit to fleet operators to identify when drivers are fatigued / distracted and  I expect will be good value add to the ERoad Solution and improve competitiveness 

Re Shapeshifter comment - worth noting that their SPP was oversubscribed 267% and they have elected to take in an extra $3.9M NZD in oversubs so for what it is worth management dont see a need for more than that and are clearly comfortable with the debt level.
