I think Rebecca James is not being given the credit she deserves for turning this around from Flexigroup to Humm! What she has done in the last 24m is quite remarkable.
Let's remember they (Flexigroup) were one of the first FINTECH/BNPL before BNPL was even an accronym.
She has turned a company that had lost direction and was a mishmash of products and streamlined it into a slick operation and that seems to have found themselves a niche in that up to $30,000 lending sphere.
It seems the company is not being rewarded for what it is today rather than what is was. Humm might need a few more halves for people to move on and realise Humm is a profitable business with an opportunity to claim its share of the pie.
i don't hold but, i am getting close to taking a starter parcel. If they can build on this quarter and re-introduce a dividend 5-6% zone then it might just be a nice alternative to holding cash.
