Listened to the PBH Annual Results Presentation on 29th August and was generally impressed by the information presented.  I bought shares in the subsequent dip after the presentation. Unfortunately, I am unable to find my notes which I took during the call but am going from memory.

It was mentioned during the call that the recent time in the US was a cyclically poor time for the betting industry with a lull between major sporting events and people engaging in activities around the end of summer.

The company indicated that they have a point of difference in offering "points betting" but whether this is just an attempt at clever marketing or a real product differentiator is something that only time will tell.

The striking down of the Federal legislation preventing states from passing laws on sports betting provides a gold mine opportunity for the company and they seem to be well placed to take advantage of this.  They are partnering with established US gaming organisations to roll out across the US, a sound strategy.
