Had this company on my watchlist for a while and after hearing Wini and Owen speak about it last week (Wini also owns it personally) I had another close look. There are several parts of this business but clearly the most exciting is their disruptive gyro-stabiliser technology. They are a global leader in this area and are miles ahead of their competition. This technology is far superior to the stabiliser fin which has been the previous industry standard. The industry is in the early adoption of this new technology for larger vessels but it’s certainly foreseeable that these gyros become the new standard in the future. There looks to be a pretty big market here with a very long runway for growth. The recent pullback was the opportunity I was waiting for. I took a position in RL today.
