I just don't understand the huge discount.
Why was it necessary?
Would a smaller discount have raised enough capital anyway?
You would think so if it the acquisition is as transformational as Kate Quirk says!
By how much do they need to oversubscribe? - $1 would be enough!
When was the last time a company like Alcidion didn't raise the full amount required?
I continue to hold ALC and in the scheme of things the current CR may very well prove to be a buying opportunity for the long term investor, I hope so, but I have not heard a convincing reason why a 22% discount was necessary?
I'm a holder of RightCrowd and I recently went through the same sort of thing.
I emailed RightCrowd and voiced my discontent at the huge discount they offered institutions and I'll do the same to Alcidion Management.
Alcidions saving grace is they offered a Non- Renounceable Entitlement, at least everyone get the discount!
