Managing Director of Dubber restrained from leaving Australia

Not surprising given then missing $26 million and the ongoing investigation, but ASIC has successfully applied for the Managing Director and CEO of Dubber, Stephen McGovern, and a lawyer associated with the term deposit the funds were in, Mark Madafferi,to be barred from leaving Australia.

Considering that Stephen McGovern is a UK citizen that is a smart move.

Although, given it's been weeks since this came to light, if he was going to run, surely he'd have done it by now?

Dubber has appointed a new CFO, Andrew Demery.

Andrew was previously CFO at BikeExchange and Carsales.com.au, which seems like a decent resume.

If you'll recall, the previous CFO walked the plank after Dubbers disastorous re-statement of their FY22 results.

Hopefully Andrew can bring a more professional management of Dubbers accounting practices.
